Stafet For Livet er et døgn, hvor vi sætter fokus på kræftsagen, kæmper sammen og fejrer livet. Det er en anledning til at mindes dem, vi har mistet, og give håb til dem, der kæmper. Stafet For Livet er fællesskab, oplysning og indsamling i kampen mod kræft.
Jette og jeg deltog i stafetten som medlem af Greve Trim og vi havde en smuk, minderig og højtidelig oplevelse.
Åbningen blev markeret ved at opsende balloner foran festpladsen.
Lysceremoni (foran Scenen)
Tid til eftertanke og fordybelse
Da mørket faldt på til stafetten, dæmpedes musikken og belysningen. Alle deltagerne samledes til lysceremonien, hvor der tændtes levende lys i papirposer.
Ved lysceremonien mindes vi de personer, som vi mistede til kræft og støtter de personer, der stadig kæmper mod kræften.
Hvert lys repræsenterer en person, en far, mor, datter, søn, bedsteforældre, niece, nevøs, onkel, tante, ven, veninde eller kollega.
Lysceremonien er en smuk og rørende ceremoni, som giver tid til eftertanke og fordybelse.

Programmet var fyldt med mange forskellige indlæg, bl. a. Omar Mazouk , korsang ved Coret og meget andet.
