Vi holdt en stille nytårsaften, da vi skulle passe på hundene. Specielt skulle vi passe på Bella, som virkelig er bane for fyrværkeri.
Hundene havde i et par dage fået i håb, om at de ikke reagerede så stærkt på kanonslag og raketter. På selve nytårsaften fik de en kombination af, så de bemærkede fyrværkeriet.
Vi startede nytårsaften ved at høre dronningens nytårstale og drikke mousserende vin.
Dernæst spiste vi en forret bestående af fisk og tilbehør.
Selve hovedretten var oksemedalonger med ristede kartofler og flutes.
Klokken tolv drak vi portvin og spiste kransekage.
